Orientation day for new trainees 2025

Actualités

At the beginning of July, the Steuler Group welcomed its new trainees at the annual trainee orientation day. This was a great opportunity to familiarize future trainees and their families with the company before their first day of training.

For the nearly 50 trainees and their families, the day began with a presentation by Michael Steuler, Managing Director of the Steuler Group.

This was followed by two factory tours, during which the group had the opportunity to learn more about both the plastics workshop and the refractory linings production facility. These tours offered the new team members the opportunity to experience the company up close and gain first impressions of their future work areas. At the same time, the relatives gained exciting insights into the workplace of the future Steuler trainees and were able to get an idea of where and how they will complete their training in the future.

After the factory tours, the program continued with a varied program that provided further insights into the company and training at Steuler. An important item on the agenda was the presentation of the works council, which explained its tasks and functions and highlighted how it acts as a central interface between employees and management. In addition to some organizational information, the trainee blog was also presented, an interesting web project where trainees can share their personal experiences and impressions of everyday working life at Steuler with others.

For more than 115 years, the Steuler Group has stood for consistency, community, and individual development. Its training programs have won multiple awards and cover a wide range of qualifications. It currently offers 13 different apprenticeships and degree programs in the commercial, scientific, and technical fields.
