Amongst other things, STEULER-KCH manufactures refractory lining materials for every zone of blast furnaces and direct reduction plants, transport ladles, arc furnaces and steel teeming systems, and supplies them to customers around the world.
The company will be at AISTech 2017 to present its latest innovations, including a new generation of magnesia-carbon bricks with the purpose of further improving the manufacturing output and processes of its customers. In addition to this, the focus is on innovative bottom casting materials and formats that significantly improve safety during casting and the homogeneity of the resulting steel ingots. Achieving such optimisation is the result of a coordinated package of services involving analysis, simulation and engineering prior to the development and production of the employed materials.
Due to the strong growth experienced in the steel industry in particular, Steuler has in recent times substantially increased its production capacity in Germany and is now well placed to meet the rising global demand for premium products, including in the US-American market.
