Plastic Vessels and Equipment in the Plant Engineering Industry

We use the following thermoplastics as liner materials:

  • Polyethylene (PE)
  • Polypropylene (PP)
  • Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U)
  • Post-chlorinated PVC (PVC-C)
  • Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)
  • Ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene (ECTFE)
  • Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP)
  • Perfluoroalkoxy alkanes (PFA)
  • Modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE-M).

The dual-laminate material is known as KERAVERIN®. We also use KERA®, a reinforced phenolic resin casting material that is likewise reinforced with fibreglass.

KERAPOLIN® is a resistant composite material made of a chemical resistant internal layer and a structural laminate based on fibre reinforced resin systems .

The operating temperature is between -50 °C and approximately 200 °C, limited by the material of construction. We are well equipped to handle large dimensions: we are able to fabricate vessels with a diameter of up to 5.5 m and up to 15 m in length/height.

Naturally, we can also supply electrically conductive material systems suitable for use in areas subject to explosion hazards. We can supply vessels and equipment that are compliant with pressure equipment directives, and if required, that are fully vacuum-resistant. We are also certified according to module H/H1.

We develop custom combinations of materials in close consultation with our customers in the plant engineering industry.

We're flexible: we can make revisions and customise the supplied components at any time – even following delivery. Our after-sales service gives our customers the opportunity to share their experiences of completed projects, to learn about current product developments and if desired, to have the installed products inspected and evaluated.
