Representatives of two charitable organizations from the Westerwald and Koblenz region met at the beginning of the year with Michael Steuler, Managing Director of the group of companies of the same name in Höhr-Grenzhausen.
Instead of handing out Christmas presents to its customers, as is customary in many places, the internationally active company decided to make a generous donation to people in the immediate vicinity in 2024.
It was particularly important to the Group to direct the donations to organizations that put their heart and soul into helping children and disadvantaged groups in the region around the headquarters in Höhr-Grenzhausen.
“It is a matter close to our hearts to make a real difference here locally and to help those who need our support the most,” emphasized Michael Steuler, Managing Director of the Steuler Group, when handing over the two symbolic cheques.
Supporting children growing up in difficult financial circumstances is particularly close to the company's heart and the promotion of inclusive sport was also a focus of this year's selection. The donations to “Versteckte Engel Koblenz” and “Wilhelm-Albrecht-Schule Höhn goes Special Olympics” will be used to specifically support projects and programs that sustainably improve the lives of children and young people in the region.
With this gesture, the Steuler Group is not only reaffirming its global responsibility as a globally active industrial company, but also its deep commitment to the region in which it is rooted. It is precisely here that the company wants to make a lasting, positive impact on people's lives.
